I’ve been thinking about heading out for some desert heat. Vegas! It gets cold at night so we will focus on the mind-bending experience of Area 15. It’s indoors and perfect for a cold evening. Note the warning about chemicals 😆

Has the sun finally gone down? Head to AREA15 for a uniquely Vegas experience of technology, glow-in-the-dark, dancing, games, and music. This is all ages so watch your language. Please, do not just choose the free entry pass. Be an adult and get the experience pass - it’s SO worth it to play all games and access every single immersive adventure.

Area 15 in Las Vegas is not just another tourist stop, it’s an experience that blurs the lines between art, technology, and entertainment. Located just off the Las Vegas Strip, this expansive complex offers a mind-bending journey into alternative realities that spark creativity and ignite the imagination. And that assumes you are sober. It’s not unusual for adults to add a little chemical additive to the experience but PLEASE! This is not the place to test something for the first one. You may freak out, scare other people, and be escorted out.

One of the most exciting aspects of Area 15 is its commitment to interactive art installations and experiential exhibits. This is literally what museums should aspire to recreate in every city because it’s entertaining and so much fun. Every corner of the space is meticulously designed to engage your senses. From light and sound to interactive digital installations, you are invited to not only observe but actively participate in the unfolding narrative. The creative approach encourages you to explore, interact, and even question your own perceptions of reality. This blend of art and technology transforms the ordinary into something extraordinary.

A major attraction within Area 15 is Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart, an immersive art experience that defies traditional storytelling. Omega Mart transforms the familiar boring supermarket into a surreal playground filled with hidden rooms, interactive secrets, and bizarre narratives. I wonder how they price eggs? The creativity behind Omega Mart is only one example of the broader experience of Area 15: a place where innovation and imagination are celebrated.
